Whether you’ve resolved to do more exercise, spend more time with family or excel at work – January always kicks-off with a host of well-meaning resolutions. To help you see them through, a wardrobe revamp is a great place to start. So look no further than Tu to help you stay steadfast, stylish and determined in 2015.
1. This year I’ll: Hit the gym
It’s the number one resolution for a reason! Luckily, sportswear has never been more stylish, from New York to Milan, it’s literally running off the runways right now. So commit to your fitness resolution by taking a cool trainer out of Balenciaga’s gym bag without breaking the bank.
We love this on-trend coral crop top a la Marc Jacobs – perfect for warm-up layering with this grey contrast tee. Teamed with a sherbet-piped pair of not-your-average-leggings, you can even kick-off the pumped up kicks as pictured here, roll out a yoga mat and start making good on your promise to salute the sun.
2. This year I’ll: Chill out
Let’s be honest, there’s a big difference between chic R&R and S&S (aka the ‘Schlep & Schlump’). Netflix and Ben & Jerry’s isn’t really what the wellness resolution ordered to soothe the soul in 2015. So to inspire us out of our sweats, these cosy floral PJs put us in the mood for the luxe pampering we truly deserve.
The indigo print ticks the winter floral trend as planted by Givenchy, Dolce & Gabbana and Erdem. So fire up the scented candles, put on the chill-out tunes and allow yourself that much-needed permission to unwind in style.
3. This year I’ll: Make an effort with the girls
Up the ante on a night out with this modern gal’s take on smart; think Alexander Wang or Rick Owens. Swap a blazer for this collarless motorcycle jacket and pair with skinny jeans. Pack a punch with your accessories: this bowling bag teamed with a pair of black leather booties reads polished, confident and ready for fun.
4. This year I’ll: Bring sexy back
It’s easy to neglect what’s underneath when layering up for winter. But there’s nothing like new lingerie to help you turn up the heat in January. We love this classic set revamped, bright and sheer. The coral pop is an unexpected update to traditional va-va-voom as well as being easily mix- and matchable with black satins.
5. This year I’ll: Appreciate the simple things
Comfort classic doesn’t mean sloppy. We love these deep indigo cigarette jeans with actual breathing room for when you make good on your promise to go home to mum’s Sunday roast more often. Keep it easy with a check shirt, but always cut to flatter, and finish with our favourite down-to-earth Chelsea boots. You know, for those long country strolls with dad, Fido the dog, uncle Jim, or whoever it is you resolve to spend more quality time with this year.
