The bank holiday dresses edit
Four styles that’ll take the stress out of weekend dressing
Stuck for ideas on what to wear this bank holiday? BBQs, picnics, all-day brunches… these four dresses will cover every occasion.
Probably the most versatile of them all, this green frock can literally take you anywhere. Try with some chunky white gladiators (aka the perfect partner to a tan) in the day. Or effortlessly take your look into the evening with some strappy heeled sandals and layered gold jewellery. A light jacket like a denim biker or little leather number will finish the look off nicely.
Shirt dresses needn’t be reserved just for your office wardrobe. Instead, opt for one in a fun print that you can wear for work and weekend alike. Keep the look casual by teaming this asymmetric version with a pair of easy ankle boots. A coordinating black leather biker will make the ideal evening cover-up.
Snake, tiger, leopard… we’ve gone wild for animal print this season. And this micro pattern dress is the perfect way to get the look. Plus, the floaty shape is made for dashing from coffee with the girls to a family dinner over the weekend – no changing needed. Pair with some tan ankle boots and a chic low bun.
We’re loving this khaki and black dress. In the print of the year – stripes – it’ll work for now and in the chillier autumn months too (with some trusty black opaques). Give it a go with some razor-sharp pointed heels and get ready to hit the dancefloor.
