Freddie Harrel’s guide to holiday packing
The totally cool blogger fills us in on her getaway essentials
“It’s like the people in charge of summer have finally listened, and a true summer they’ve delivered. And if we’re going to spend extra time soaking in the sun, by the pool, in the park or away on holiday, we’re packing for the win.”
“For the little ones, I started with bright swim shorts to match the sun rays – these dinosaur ones are ideal for the paddling pool. A couple of harem shorts add an effortless edge. This duo is cotton rich to rapidly soak wet bum cheeks and easily wash the ice lolly stains away.”
“Then, a printed denim shirt is easy to throw on when they’re done paddling. Or a striped polo shirt if ice lollies are still on everyone’s brains! And to finish off: the coolest straw hat. Just because.”
“As for us ladies who like to lounge, we want to feel fab and supported. So, pick up this red bikini. From the straps to the waistband, it feels perfectly snug and the print is super-cute, too. And what’s really clever is this pair of red linen trousers – the casual version of the high-waisted wardrobe staple. They match the bikini to perfection, the fabric is nicely airy and the high-waist is totally flattering (as usual).”
“And if you’re going out for a glass of rosé or two, this green and white jumpsuit from the Tu Graduate Fashion Week collection is simply dreamy. The lapels create a glam and classy cleavage, whilst the shoulders seal the deal with extra grace. Style it with your favourite accessories and heeled sandals, and as I said before, you’re in for the win.”
