Hot from Men’s Fashion Week: the top trends
We’ve rounded up our favourite trends from Men’s Fashion Week, along with some stylish pieces from Tu.
This January, some of the biggest designers in men’s fashion showcased their autumn collections and we couldn’t wait to share the best bits! We’ve rounded up our favourite trends – and you won’t need to wait for autumn to wear them, thanks to some stylish pieces from Tu.
If there’s one thing we learned, it’s that green is the must-have colour for autumn, with shades of khaki, olive and mint ruling the catwalks at Alexander McQueen and Burberry. It’s the perfect colour for the transition between winter and spring, so why not wear it now with an easy crew-neck jumper? Or try a pair of cool camouflage shorts – we can’t resist this style’s relaxed fit and flattering length.
Stripes were another recurring theme on the men’s autumn runways, and you can get ahead of the curve by introducing some pattern to your outfit this spring: this navy knit would look great with your favourite jeans and sneakers. Or give a subtle nod to the stripey trend with a crisp shirt that looks great under a sleek blazer.
Stripes not your thing? Opt for checks – one of the hottest prints to emerge from the runways. Topman’s head-to-toe suit is a full-on take on the trend but you can add a little checked magic to your outfit now with your new wardrobe go-to: a crisp and fitted plaid shirt.
