Kids: the Easter Sunday edit

Some oh-so-sweet outfits that give a whole new meaning to Sunday best

Squeaky patent shoes, itchy two-pieces, prim and proper dresses… (long) gone are the days of traditional Sunday best. Instead, occasionwear for kids is now all about wearable pieces that can easily be dressed up or down. Case in point: this ditsy print romper above. It feels totally right for seeing Granny when worn with its coordinating socks and shoes. But slip a sunshine yellow rain mac over the top and you’ve got the ideal get-up for the park too.

In a fun flamingo print, this fit-and-flare dress will work for posh parties and the summer holidays alike. Forget predictable pumps and team with a pair of high-top sneakers instead. Finish off with an embroidered denim jacket – the ideal throw-on-and-go piece.

Chinos: possibly the easiest item to make look smart or casual. And these stone shorts are no exception to the rule. Pair them with a cool truck print shirt (we’re pretty sure this will be their new fave) and some polished high-top trainers. Easy.
