The Dress Like A Mum edit: Christmas style
Zoë de Pass’s guide to dressing for the season with Tu clothing.
The run-up to Christmas is a hectic time and Zoë de Pass, the style editor behind the much-loved blog Dress Like A Mum, knows a thing or two about a long yuletide to-do list. But she still navigates the season in standout style (we know, we’ve been following her outfit posts on Instagram for years!), so we asked her for advice on how to put together some festive outfits from Tu that will see you through any occasion. Here’s what we learned from the master.
“The best thing about Christmas is the way everyone is in a happy, party mood,” says Zoe. “Wearing a sparkly jumper instantly makes me want to smile.” There’s no better time to snap up Tu Premium’s glittery silver sweatshirt – take your cue from Zoë and team it with easy sneaks and Tu’s skinny black distressed jeans. “This look will take me from a work meeting to a kids’ party and then to drinks with friends,” she points out. “What’s not to love about finding one outfit you can wear from morning to night and feel great?”
Zoë’s also a fan of reinventing wardrobe essentials in leather. “This pencil skirt has a cool vibe that I’d love to wear to a work event,” she says. “I’d add easy ankle boots and knitwear to keep it from looking overdone.”
“I love classics with a twist,” Zoë told us as she rifled through Tu’s new-season accessories, landing on Tu’s tortoiseshell heel boots. “I’m not a heels girl, so ankle boots with just a bit of height are perfect for me. And sparkle is always right for a clutch!”
