The Influencer Edit: Sophia Rosemary

We asked our favourite style blogger to pick the best of spring’s feel-good fashion from Tu.

“Cracking out the pale denim!” was Sophia Rosemary’s  instant response when we asked her what she loved the most about dressing for warmer weather. The popular blogger (prepare to lose a couple of hours checking out her brilliant site Sophia Rosemary) is a denim aficionado, so it’s no surprise that her two favourite outfits from Tu featured her go-to fabric. We asked her to share her tips on how she’d style Tu’s spring collection to suit her cute tomboy style – get inspired by her video or keep scrolling for more fashion advice.

Sophia slipped one of our favourite pieces from Tu’s Graduate Fashion Week collection (a broderie top with sailor collar) under Tu’s denim romper. “I always feel great in dungarees and this outfit is the perfect combination of tomboy and boyish,” she points out. “And a white top instantly makes you feel like summer’s coming!”

“Always make room in your closet for one more denim skirt – they’re so versatile,” Sophia advises. “This one from Tu has a great, not-too-tight shape that really suits a tucked-in shirt. And you can treat this colour of denim like a neutral, pairing it with almost any colour – I chose this patterned shirt to add some colour and a retro vibe to the look.”

Also on Sophia’s wishlist are Tu’s summer-ready backless loafers. “This is the ultimate effortless spring shoe,” she says. “Loafers and brogues are my default shoes because they always look right.” She was also drawn to Tu’s denim smock dress for its “flattering A-line shape and cute scalloped trim”.
