The sale edit
Our top five buys from Tu’s end of season offer
It’s here: the end of season sale. Whether you fancy treating yourself to some brand new togs or want to pick up some last-minute bargain pressies to impress, there’s tonnes of closet staples that will work now and well into the spring months too. These are our five faves – grab them before they’re gone.
There’s no denying that the puffer jacket is the jacket to be seen in this season. And in winter’s coveted shade – oxblood – this hooded version looks good with everyday blue denim. Or give the athleisure look a go by pairing yours with a fine knit roll neck, a pair of tailored track pants and some sleek stilettos.
The relaxed knit
The roll neck, the jersey sweat, the really chunky one… when it’s permanently Baltic outside, it pays to have a handful of go-to jumpers that go with both your on and off-duty essentials. Tu’s khaki V-neck knit will make a nice addition to your sweater collection. Featuring balloon sleeves, it has just the right amount of structure to wear with office tailoring but is relaxed enough to wear with your favourite weekend trews. Now that’s what we call good bang for your buck.
The floral number
It might look more spring appropriate but this scarlet floral dress isn’t just limited to your warm-weather wardrobe. Layer yours over an ultra-fine roll neck and wear with some heeled over-the-knee boots, aka the ultimate winter warmers. Finish off with a messy up-do and a pair of dangly gold earrings.
The workout to weekender
From retro sportswear brand, Russell Athletic, this grey jersey bomber is made for both the gym and your dressed-down wardrobe. Go coordinated with the matching joggers or team with a classic white tee, structured culottes and some block-heel ankle boots to check the smart-casual box off your outfit list.
The light layer
It’s amazing the difference a few light layers can make… but gone are the days of granny’s greying long johns because thermals just got seriously cool. Case in point: this ruffle trimmed ribbed top. Try under anything from a low-cut jumpsuit to a polished shift dress. Also looks great worn solo. You know, when the weather picks up.
