4 dresses, 2 ways
This is spring dressing made easy
After the washout year we’ve had so far, spring has (finally) sprung. So we thought what better time to bring you an edit of our fave new dresses? And to give you more bang for your buck (and make sure you’ve got every occasion covered), we’ve pulled together two ways to wear each one. Enjoy.
Heading out for brunch this weekend? This floral frock is just right when teamed with these fab embroidered mules and a relaxed denim jacket. And when brunch turns into dinner (come on, it’s inevitable), make a quick change with a polished leather biker and a pair of block heel sandals and get ready to dance the night away in style.
Whether you’re heading on a hot beach break or a city getaway, this striped T-shirt dress will work either way. For sunnier climes, keep it simple with some metallic sandals and a straw cloche hat – this one features a statement bow on the back. Or if you’re sightseeing in town, these knot detail sneakers will look great with bare legs. And don’t forget a thick knit cardi, like this mustard version, ideal for chilly air-conditioned galleries and breezy evenings alike.
Forecasts are looking up this weekend, which will sure mean lots of time spent outside. And if you’re planning on heading to the park or the pub, a denim pinny is the perfect refresh on your winter jeans. Picnic on the cards? Try this rope waist dress with a lightweight balloon sleeve sweat and some backless ruffle skaters. And if a picnic feels like too much faff, whip the belt off and slip this embroidered peasant blouse underneath instead. Polish off with a pair of cut-out ankle boots, sit back and enjoy the sunshine (hopefully).
Want a frock that will take your outfit from day to night in a flash? Say hello to Tu’s lace trim floral dress, which looks lovely under this easy pastel knit and worn with a pair of grey trainers. Take your style from pub to party by swapping in some nude sandals and a pastel cross-body. Simple as.
