Your guide to July
Events and ideas to keep your calendar chock-full this July
School’s out, the weather’s warmer – things are looking up for the month of July. With that in mind we’re welcoming back al fresco dining, long evening strolls and entertainment for the whole family with open arms. It’s time to crawl out of our caves and experience all the wonderful events, festivals and activities July has to offer. We’ve rounded up our favourites from around the UK.
It’s officially oyster season and what better way to celebrate the first catch of the summer than with a festival! There’s an oyster eating contest, a children’s picnic and plenty of performances. Don’t miss one of the seafront processions either. We’ll take any excuse to visit Whitstable again. It’s where we photographed our latest brand campaign.
Long summer evenings call for spending as much time outdoors as possible. How about on a roof, with a cocktail, watching your favourite film as the sun sets? London’s Rooftop Film Club is showing films all summer long on scenic roofs across the city. Can’t get to London? Create an outdoor cinema in your very own back garden with these outdoor accessories.
For a rush of excitement that everyone in the family can enjoy, plan a trip to Silverstone for The British Grand Prix. This Formula 1 race is not just for car enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies. The weekend is transformed into a mini festival with concerts and camping grounds.
Foodies Festival, UK

Come face to face with a T-Rex and other life-sized, animatronic dinosaurs. They’re so realistic you’ll feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This exhilarating exhibition also includes fossils and 3-D printed replicas from the Natural History Museum’s archives. Get your little ones ready for a roaring time with these dino-themed tees.
Take seaside fun to the extreme at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. As one of the UK’s most treasured attractions, the seafront theme park has a host of activities, rides and adventures for thrill-seekers and sun-seekers alike.
